FLE - French as foreign language
Professors
Prerequisites:
At least 2 years’ post-secondary education.
Pedagogical objectives:
Develop French language skills for further study at Cnam.
Improve professional writing (emails, reports) and research writing (research report, thesis, article, paper).
Have a computer, a good Internet connection and know how to use video-conference tools.
Evaluation modalities:
- Take part in at least 2 individual interviews
- Complete at least 30 hours of individual work, documented in a logbook
- Take part in at least 2 group workshops
Description:
The training objectives, content and choice of resources are determined individually with the teacher-adviser, according to the priorities of each student.
Professional or research writing
Possible preparation for certification in French as a foreign language: DALF or TCF.
Complementary content:
- 15-week course, entirely distance learning, via Teams
- Guided self-study using digital resources.
For guidance:
- 3 support and follow-up interviews with a distance learning teacher-counsellor. Schedule of meetings to be decided with the teacher, via Teams;
4 methodological workshops for re-reading written work carried out by a member of the group, on the 1st Monday of each month from 6pm to 8pm, remotely via Teams (re-reading a peer’s work; evaluating learning strategies and developing new ones, etc.).
